Abstract
Sustainable economic development is driven bysustainable entrepreneurial activities, generated by the personalattitudes of entrepreneurs. The present and future of sustainableentrepreneurship are shaped by the youth, including students,which is why it is important to understand their attitudes towardsthis type of entrepreneurship. Therefore, the key goal of theresearch is to evaluate the attitudes and behaviours of the youthtowards sustainability issues and sustainable entrepreneurship. Thecurrent article reflects the results of the second research stage andaims at evaluating attitudes towards sustainable entrepreneurshipamong Latvian and Lithuanian students. The results reveal thatgender/age affect personal environmental attitudes, howevergender/age has no effect on personal willingness to start asustainable business. The analysis results of the personal attitudesto sustainable entrepreneurship differ by age and gender. Genderhas no effect and age strongly affects personal attitudes tosustainable development.
