dc.description.abstract | During the course of this text, we examine the recent change in foster care legislation that says child social services have an obligatory duty to search for foster parents in the child's network of family and kinship. We will have a look at the principles in child social services by terms of biology in kinship, and child’s wellbeing, and connect them up to recent research. The method for this study is a literature review, and we discuss our chosen research in regard to the thesis. The change in legislation is a move towards more foster care placements in kinship. Is kinship foster care more advantageous than normal foster care in terms of children’s well-being? | en_US |
